This is a medley of American river songs. After the slow introduction comes a processional on George Gershwin’s “Swanee” followed by a moderate “Swanee River” from Stephen Foster. The ending’s “Michael, Row the Boat Ashore” has a light, pops feel. Please note, and strive to emphasize the distinct musical styles.
