Vic Flowers has here written another gem in the British March style (in the tradition of his March of the Buccaneers.) Everything about this march says “tasteful” from the opening woodwind intro, through a charming bassoon solo (cued in Tenor Sax), to the use of the Old English hymn tune “Kingsfold” for a trio theme. This is a sterling new concert work that will surely enhance and add a touch of class to any program.
