John Bacchus Dykes (1823-1876) war ein englischer Geistlicher und Kirchenmusiker, der über 300 Kirchenlieder komponierte, von denen heute noch viele in Gebrauch sind. Der Titel Holy, Holy, Holy stammt aus dem Jahre 1861 und wird auch im deutschen Sprachraum als Heilig, heilig, heilig zum Text von Reginald Heber gerne intoniert.
