El Batallón de los zapatos rotos bedeutet soviel wie „Das Regiment der kaputten Schuhe“. Diese Komposition ist eine Art Kreuzung aus dem typisch spanischen Paso doble und einem belgischen Jägermarsch. Der Titel ist eine Metapher, die für das Verfechten einer gerechten Sache steht, auch wenn einem dazu die Mittel fehlen. Eine originelle Variante des gewöhnlichen Paso doble!
