The Huron Indian Carol, also known as T'was in the Moon of Winter Time, is presented in three contrasting settings. It will provide an excellent change of pace selection for any holiday or winter concert. The haunting melody is probably of French origin and was adapted by the 17th-century Canadian Missionary, Jean de Brebeuf. His original text was in the native Huron language. (Grade 2)
