After the success of La Traviata and Rigoletto, Lorenzo Pusceddu presents the transcription of another of Verdi’s masterpieces: Il Trovatore. This edition, like the previous one, contains a selection of the most famous numbers of the opera interspersed with the voice of a narrator (in 4 languages: Italian, English, French and German) who describes to the audience the complete unfolding of the events. Pusceddu arranged the opera for singers and wind band, but solo instruments can also play the role of the singers. The score contains an optional SATB chorus (available separately for purchase). Each act includes: Full score (with singers and solo instruments), single parts for the wind band, text for the narrator, alternate parts for the solo instruments, and parts for the singers: Leonora (soprano), Azucena (mezzo-soprano or alto), Manrico (tenor), Il Conte di Luna (baritone).
